Mumbai, June 02: The month of Ramadan ul-Kareem, this year, saw its commencement during the time of mid-May. The Muslims observe the ritual of Roza (observe fasting) during the holy month of Ramzan. People hailing from the Islamic community who were able to see a sight of the crescent moon on Sha’aban 27, began their fasting on May 17, whereas those who could not, began their fasting a day later, on May 18.
