Academy Award winner Kate Winslet has officially joined the cast of the upcoming film The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, marking her long-awaited entry into the Middle-earth franchise. The film, directed by and starring Andy Serkis, is slated for a December 17, 2027, release.
