Veteran British actor Michael Pennington, best known to global audiences for playing Moff Jerjerrod in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi and celebrated for his acclaimed Shakespearean stage career, has died at the age of 82. His death was confirmed by his representatives, who said the actor died peacefully at Denville Hall in London on May 7.
