Suzuki Motor has reportedly halted production of Swift models in Japan from May 26 due to a shortage of key parts linked to China’s rare earth export restrictions. While Maruti Suzuki India remains unaffected, Suzuki expects partial production to resume by June 13 and full operations after June 16.
