Indian banks will see up to 14 holidays in April 2026, starting with the annual closing on April 1. The list of bank holidays includes Good Friday (April 3) and Ambedkar Jayanti (April 14). Standard holidays apply on Sundays (April 5, 12, 19, 26) and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays (April 11, 25). While branches shut, digital banking and UPI will remain fully functional.
