According to the RBI holiday calendar, Saturday, January 3, 2026, is not a nationwide bank holiday. As it is the first Saturday of the month, banks across most of India will remain operational. However, branches in Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow, Kanpur) will be closed to observe the birth anniversary of Hazrat Ali.
