Fans of Akshay Kumar waiting for 'Rowdy Rathore 2' may be disappointed as the sequel’s script has been dropped. Producers Shabinaa Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will now turn it into a standalone cop drama, with writer V. Vijayendra Prasad reworking the story and Tamil director Mithran set to helm the project in early 2026.
