The film is directed by Karan Malhotra and actor Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist. Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor-starrer 'Shamshera' has been locked for July 22 release now. 'Shamshera' was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on March 18.
