Following a court order, the Mainpuri police have registered a fraud case against actor Shreyas Talpade and 11 others for allegedly duping residents of lakhs of rupees. The complaint claims the group used a purported Mumbai bank branch in Bhogaon to lure villagers into fraudulent investment schemes.
