Mumai Police have launched an investigation into an alleged investment scam after veteran Marathi actress Varsha Usgaonkar and several colleagues were reportedly defrauded of approximately ₹47 lakh. Police Station registered a case against a man identified as Avinash Jadhav, who is accused of posing as a builder and film producer to solicit fraudulent investments.
