Veteran Marathi actress Jyoti Chandekar Pandit died on August 16, 2025, in Pune. The 69-year-old artiste's actress daughter, Tejaswini Pandit, shared a statement informing about her mother’s demise. Tejaswini shared a picture of her mother and wrote, “Aai (mother)”, with a heartbreak emoji. Jyoti Chandekar’s last rites will be performed in Pune on August 17.
