The Ministry of Railways will soon mandate e-Aadhaar authentication for Tatkal bookings to curb misuse and ensure genuine access, said Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Passengers with Aadhaar-linked IRCTC accounts will get priority in the first 10 minutes of Tatkal ticket sales, preventing booking by unauthorised agents and automated software tools.
