Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah claimed that concerns raised by BJP ally N. Chandrababu Naidu regarding the VB-G RAM G Act validate the Opposition's stance. He argued that replacing MGNREGA with this new Act weakens federalism by shifting 40 per cent of costs to states and turning a legal right into a "negotiable arrangement" based on political leverage.
