A Nashik court has remanded self-styled godman Ashok Kharat to police custody until April 29 for a seventh case of s*xual exploitation. The SIT is investigating 12 cases of assault and fraud against the former Merchant Navy officer. The probe expanded after police recovered blank cheques from a hidden locker at his residence.
