Amid water scarcity fears, the BMC has assured Mumbaikars there will be no water cuts till July 31. The seven lakes supplying water to the city currently hold 3.3 lakh million litres, or 22.7% of their capacity, similar to last year. The state has also approved the release of contingency reserves to maintain uninterrupted supply.
