At least nine labourers are feared dead and several others injured following a boiler explosion at a Vedanta power plant in Chhattisgarh’s Sakti district. The blast, which occurred in the afternoon at the facility in Singhitarai village, triggered a large-scale emergency response, with rescue operations still underway amid fears that some workers may remain trapped.
