The India Meteorological Department has forecast rain, thunderstorms and strong winds in Dehradun and several parts of Uttarakhand over the next 48 hours. While heavy rainfall and snowfall are expected in hill districts, Dehradun may witness showers, lightning and gusty winds reaching up to 50 kmph, bringing temperatures down across the region.
