A BJP worker committed suicide here on Saturday, allegedly after being overlooked as a party candidate for the upcoming Thiruvananthapuram municipal elections. nThe deceased, identified as Anand K.Thampi, belonged to the Thrikkannapuram ward of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.
