A pet dog was killed in a hit-and-run on Kanpur’s Mainawati Marg on Monday, February 16. CCTV footage shows a speeding Maruti Suzuki Ertiga striking the leashed animal while it was being walked by an elderly man. The driver fled the scene. Nawabganj police have filed a complaint and are currently tracing the vehicle to identify the suspect.
