An empty local train (empty rake) derailed near Dombivli station at 8:09 AM today, April 20, during the morning rush. Three coaches of the rake, travelling from Kalwa shed to Kalyan, left the tracks near Platform 1. No injuries occurred, but Central Line services faced major delays and diversions. An internal inquiry into the cause is now underway.
