Cops said that the incident took place on Saturday, September 13, when the student and her male companion had gone to a place near the Baliharchandi temple in Puri to spend some time. A group of local youths allegedly clicked the student and her male friend's pictures and videos. They demanded money from the duo, but when the woman and her friend refused, two youths raped the female student.
