India on September 20 reacted to the US H-1B visa fee hike, citing potential humanitarian consequences for families. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the government is studying the full implications, emphasising skilled talent mobility and strong India-US ties. The fee hike to USD 1,00,000 takes effect September 21.
