A 19-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her brother in Sambhal district late Thursday night in what authorities are investigating as a case of honor-based violence. The accused, identified as Alam, reportedly strangled his sister, Rujhan, after she refused to end her inter-faith relationship with a local man.
