The Indian Army has issued fresh social media guidelines advising personnel to avoid posting, commenting or sharing views on platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Telegram. Soldiers and officers have been directed to use these apps strictly for viewing and monitoring purposes to prevent security risks and information leaks.
