The Indian government reported over 3.5 lakh new PNG connections in March as LPG supplies stabilise and panic buying fades. Refineries are operating at high capacity with adequate fuel stocks. To curb LPG reliance, the government is incentivising a shift to PNG for commercial users while fast-tracking infrastructure approvals nationwide.
