A nurse employed at a private hospital in Mumbai was allegedly defrauded of Rs 1 lakh while attempting to purchase a dress priced at just Rs 299 from a social media advertisement. The incident, which took place between April 16 and April 20, 2026, has led to an official investigation by the Deonar police.
