The central government has relaxed petroleum rules for 60 days to boost kerosene supply amid global energy disruptions linked to the Iran conflict. Public sector oil companies can now sell kerosene through petrol pumps and retail outlets across 21 states and UTs to ensure availability for household cooking and lighting needs.
