According to investigators, the accused allegedly attacked the woman with a sharp-edged cutter and slit her throat after she rejected his repeated pressure to enter into a relationship despite him already being married in Madhya Pradesh. The victim’s mother was also injured while trying to intervene during the attack, police said.
