A young woman was allegedly murdered in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandideep town after she refused a man’s demand to live with him as his “second wife”, police said on Saturday. The accused, a 26-year-old man, was arrested within 24 hours of the incident following an intensive police search operation, as reported by TOI. Police officials said the incident occurred in the Mandideep area near Bhopal. The accused reportedly entered the victim’s house and attacked her following an argument over his proposal. Accused Arrested After Police Search
Police launched a manhunt immediately after the incident and tracked down the accused within a day. Officials said he was arrested from a nearby area after teams conducted searches based on local intelligence inputs and technical surveillance.
