The Special Court for Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) found Hasan Kutty, also known as Kabeer, guilty under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the POCSO Act. Kutty had abducted and sexually assaulted the two-year-old girl at Chakka in Thiruvananthapuram. The court will announce his sentence on October 3.
