A double-decker electric bus was completely destroyed by a fire at the Kurla BEST depot on Sunday afternoon. The vehicle, part of the city’s recently introduced fleet of electric buses, was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported. The Mumbai Fire Brigade managed to contain the blaze shortly after arriving at the scene.
