A businessman has accused Kalpana Verma, a DSP with Chhattisgarh police, of love trapping him, extortion and blackmail. The complainant said that he gave over INR 2 crore, a diamond ring and a gold chain. He has also accused her of taking possession of his wife's car. However, the senior police officer has denied all allegations against her.
