The Unique Identification Authority of India has unveiled a major upgrade to India’s digital security framework with the launch of an AI powered biometric deduplication and document verification platform. The initiative, described as an “Invisible Shield,” is designed to strengthen Aadhaar security and protect the identities of more than a billion residents.
