Residents in Bengaluru are being targeted with fake wedding invitations sent via WhatsApp containing malicious APK files. Installing the file gives scammers access to banking and personal data. One businessman has reportedly lost INR 5 lakh. Readers are warned not to download any APK files disguised as invites.
