Bengaluru has been ranked India’s most women-friendly city for 2025 in the Avtar Group’s TCWI report, topping 124 cities for combining career opportunities with strong social support. While Bengaluru led in inclusion, Kolkata was named the safest metro by the NCRB for the fourth straight year, recording the lowest crime rate among major cities.
