New South Wales Police Force said that Samanvitha Dhareshwar was eight months pregnant. The police said that emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian was struck shortly after 8 PM on November 14 at the entrance of a carpark on George Street, Hornsby. She and her unborn child died after a BMW hit a Kia car, which hit Samanvitha while she was crossing the road in Hornsby.
