Cash payments at highway toll plazas will end from April 10 as India shifts to a fully digital system using FASTag and UPI. The move aims to reduce congestion and improve efficiency. Meanwhile, toll charges have been slightly increased on national highways and expressways, including routes in Uttar Pradesh.
