Preliminary investigation revealed that the same-sex relationship ended on a tragic note as the accused offered a spiked drink to the victim, following which he started vomiting and died. The victim was found lying in bed at the accused's home. When efforts to wake him up failed, a doctor was called, who confirmed that the minor boy had died.
