The families that witnessed an addition of new family member make sure to make Lohri truly memorable for both child and his/her parents, especially mother. Functions are organised at the paternal house of the newborn. The elders, usually baby’s grandparents send out Lohri invitation cards to family, relatives, friends and other near and dear ones.
