In response to their absence from T20 World Cup 2026, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has launched the "Odommo Bangladesh" T20 Cup. This three-team domestic tournament features the nation's top cricketers, including Liton Das and Najmul Hossain Shanto, and is scheduled to take place from 5–9 February in Dhaka.
