Amazon CEO Andy Jassy announced the departure of Rohit Prasad Amazon, head of the AGI team and creator of Nova models. Peter DeSantis will now lead AI, Nova, and custom silicon initiatives, while Pieter Abbeel takes charge of the frontier model research team. The reorganisation aims to accelerate innovation and strengthen Amazon’s AI leadership.
