Sony has confirmed a PlayStation 5 remake of the original God of War trilogy is in early development. To celebrate the series' 20th anniversary, a new 2D canon prequel, God of War Sons of Sparta, was also released today for USD 29.99, featuring the return of original Kratos actor TC Carson.
