Microsoft has laid off more 40 employees in its latest round from Washington state. The announcement of Microsoft layoffs come amid tech giant posting record profit and revenue this year and investing heavily in artificial intelligence (building AI infrastructure). Satya Nadella-led Microsoft said that these layoffs were part of regular business adjustments.
