Zupee has reportedly announced to lay off about 170 employees, nearly 30 percent of its workforce, following the Online Gaming Act 2025 that bans real-money games in India. Impacted staff will get extended financial support, in some cases up to six months. CEO Dilsher Singh Malhi said ‘We are providing comprehensive support to help our colleagues step seamlessly and with confidence into their next roles.’
