Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly developing a new feature, ‘invite contacts to follow channels’, aimed at improving channel engagement and user interaction. The update, currently being tested by beta users, will allow admins to connect more easily with their contacts and followers. It will be launched in a future update for Android beta users and final users.
