Perplexity AI, led by Aravind Srinivas, has reportedly offered USD 34.5 billion to buy Google’s Chrome browser, surpassing its USD 18 billion valuation. Analysts doubt Google will sell the Chrome browser amid its ongoing US antitrust case and a court ruling is expected later this month. Earlier this year, the AI startup also offered to acquire TikTok.
