Samsung has started testing One UI 9, based on Android 17, which is expected to bring a smoother user interface and improved widgets. A tentative eligibility list includes the Galaxy S23 through S26 series, recent foldable models, and mid-range Galaxy A devices. A stable release is anticipated in late 2026 following the full rollout of One UI 8.5.
