ByteDance has halted the global launch of its AI video model, Seedance 2.0, due to copyright disputes with major Hollywood studios, including Disney. The company is adding technical safeguards to prevent unauthorised use of protected intellectual property following accusations that the model was trained on copyrighted characters and film assets.
