Mark Zuckerberg-run Meta will reportedly lay off around 600 roles in its Superintelligence Labs, including FAIR and AI product teams, despite heavy AI investments. Affected employees are encouraged to apply for other roles. Meta continues expanding its AI efforts and recently partnered with Blue Owl Capital to develop USD 27 billion Hyperion Data Centre.
