The TikTok ban deadline has been extended three times by U.S. President Donald Trump to keep the platform operational in the country until it finds a rightful buyer. However, despite these previous deadline extensions, the ByteDance-owned short-form video platform has yet to divest its business to continue providing services in the United States.
